Penelope cosplaying Winry Rockbell

I came up with this idea quite strangely: I was looking at some pics of Winry Rockbell and went wintful over the fact that I could have easily cosplayed as her when I had long hair... My next thought was that I also could have cosplayed as Penelope (okay, I'm too tall to cosplay her, really)...

Then I sort of noticed how similar they look! O_o And that thought in itself is not new: I faintly remember thinking that when I started watching Full Metal Alchemist (about 5-7 years ago?!). And I have the strangest feeling that someone has already done this crossover (and why do I think it's you, JAY? )

Okay, but seriously, what DON'T Winry and Penelope have in common? They both have a red scarf and overalls, they both have long blonde hair. Far more importantly, looks aside, they both have a WILD fascination with mechanics!!! So, as a matter of fact, it was unavoidable for me to make this crossover: IT HAD TO BE MADE. Also, one of Penelope and Gadget would be awesome, but nah, I just really wanted to draw Penelope having little clothes (It's been a while, really... [link] )

But anywayyyyyyys, I really enjoyed drawing this I really wanted to bring some of my own style, plus a little bit of Sly 4 flavour into this, so I didn't Penny as she is traditionally drawn... I'm a bit afraid that I actually went too far, making this an anthropomorphic Winry rather than a cosplaying Penelope...

Nevertheless, one thing I'm proud of is the fact that I managed to keep her fairly short and tiny (I am an androgynous Amazon myself so I tend to draw women like that)

Anyways, drawing this was a lot of fun and I really should go back to drawing Penelope more I used to draw her all the time and my love for her hasn't vanished with years

And one more thing: I also LOVE Winry Rockbell! I always rooted for her and Edward
